Over the last two years, the OPP have seized over 180,000 cannabis plants as part of their Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team.
The project includes members from several police organizations, including Niagara Regional Police.
Investigators have executed 152 warrants across Ontario, and have seized thousands of edibles and other illicit drugs.
They have also seized over $3.2 million in Canadian currency.
Since the beginning of the project, the OPP enforcement team has closed 78 illegal storefronts and has seized about $178 million worth of narcotics.
