City of Niagara Falls to receive over $2.9 million from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
The City of Niagara Falls is getting a fourth quarter revenue payment from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG).
The OLG says it will pay the City $2,969,020 for hosting Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino Resort.
For fiscal 2021-22, Niagara Falls received $11,526,576 in gaming revenue.
The payments are determined by a formula applied to all gaming sites in in the province.
Since the first casino opened in December 1996, Niagara Falls has received over $174,000,000.
