Free bike registration program allows cyclists to report missing or stolen bikes.
Niagara Regional Police are reminding cyclists to keep their bikes safe this summer.
The NRP has teamed up with 529 Garage for its new bike registration program.
The program allows you to register your bike, report a theft, and check any bike you're considering buying to make sure it hasn't been reported stolen.
If your bike goes missing after its registered, you can notify 529 Garage.
An alert will then be issued from the app letting other cyclists and bike shops know to keep an eye out.
Details on how to register can be found here.
