Police are looking for whoever is responsible for some defamatory posters displayed in Thorold.
They say it was late last month when the posters were found taped to hydro poles and other public locations, featuring an image and personal contact information of a certain victim.
Police add there was also unfounded and defamatory allegations made about the victim on the posters.
Police are working to find who made and put up these posters.
They add further details of what is on the posters will not be revealed to protect the victim's privacy.
Police also say posting defamatory content in public places is not only harmful, it's illegal.
