No charges were laid after the NRP conducted a RIDE Program at Sunset Beach.
Officers stopped over 1,500 cars on Canada Day and they conducted 80 breathalyzer tests.
The Marine Unit also patrolled to water to keep a close eye on the boats in the area.
The NRP decided to monitor the beach after hearing reports of it being crowded.
