The NRP has wrapped up Operation Loud and Clear which targeted noisy vehicles throughout the Region.
Officers issued 52 tickets in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake over the past couple of weeks.
Thirty-three drivers didn't have muffler and 15 drivers were written up for not having a proper muffler.
Police say the remaining four drivers were ticketed for making unnecessary noise.
The NRP decided to launch the campaign after hearing numerous complaints about noisy vehicles.
