Premier attends ceremony held earlier this week
The Niagara Parks Commission has officially renamed the plaza outside its newest attraction in honour of the late Sandie Bellows, former Chair of the NPC.
In a ceremony held earlier this week, her two sons, family members, Premier Ford and Tourism Minister Lisa MacLeod were on hand to unveil the installation of a new plaque officially renaming the Niagara Parks Power Station plaza in her honour.
Bellows who passed away last month from cancer was instrumental in redeveloping the historic power generating station.
The NPC says it was one of her biggest points of pride and will be remembered as a major part of her legacy.
