Heavy rain, thunderstorms and even a tornado possible this afternoon into the evening
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Niagara.
Environment Canada says the area could get thunderstorms this afternoon into the evening.
There could also be hail, strong winds, heavy rain around 30 to 50 mm, and there is even the risk of a tornado.
The threat will be reduced this evening with the passage of a front.
If threatening weather approaches, you're advised to take cover right away.
The National Weather Service has also issued a hazardous weather outlook for Buffalo.
