Niagara Public Health is confirming 27 new COVID-19 cases today.
The death toll remains at 369, and there are 11 people in local hospitals with the virus.
There are four confirmed cases of the variant that originated in the UK, with 72 more cases being investigated for variants.
The region has 22 active outbreaks and 215 active cases.
St. Catharines has 47 active cases, followed by Niagara Falls with 45 and Welland with 40.
The province announced 1185 new cases and six more deaths today.
There are 343 new cases in Toronto, 235 in Peel and 105 in York Region.
