Monarch butterfly tag and release program coming back to Niagara.
A monarch butterfly tag and release program is coming back to Niagara this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory will host its Majestic Monarchs program.
The free program will give guests a chance to participate in the Monarch Watch research tracking program.
The program tracks and releases the endangered butterfly as it heads south towards Mexico.
Demonstrations will take place every half hour from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
