Remembrance Day ceremonies held across the region.
Ceremonies were held today across the region to mark Remembrance Day.
At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, people across the region honoured the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
Several services were held, including ones at the Niagara Falls Fairview Cemetery, Welland Chippewa Park, Veterans Park in Pelham and the Grimsby Museum.
As well, an Avro Lancaster and D-Day Dakota flew over Niagara.
Premier Doug Ford also hosted a service, paying tribute to those who fought in Afghanistan, the First and Second World Wars, the Korean and Gulf wars, and "countless" other peace keeping missions across the globe.
