One person has died following a motel fire in Niagara Falls.
Just before 9:20 this morning, emergency crews were called to the Courtside Inn on Stanley Avenue near Emery Street.
The fire was determined to primarily be coming from one room in the motel, where the deceased person was found.
Further details about the deceased are not being released at this time.
During the initial stages of the investigation, there were road closures on Stanley Avenue, but they have since cleared up.
The cause of the blaze and death is currently under investigation by the NRP, the Coroner and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office.
