Residents can get bags of compost in exchange for donations of cash or non-perishable food items benefiting several Niagara charities.
Niagara residents will soon have a chance to get bags of compost while supporting a good cause.
From October 18th -23rd, community members can head over to one of the participating landfills to collect one to three 20 litre bags of compost per vehicle per day.
In exchange, donations of non-perishable food items or cash in support of Fort Erie COPE (Community Outreach Program - Erie), Grimsby Benevolent Fund, HOPE Centre/Goodwill Niagara (Women's Place) and Project SHARE will be accepted.
