Waste Reduction week starts today and the Niagara Region is showing its support. Tours of the Recycling Centre and Walker Environmental Compost Facility are taking place throughout the week.
Waste management info booths will be set up in different areas of Niagara through the week with staff selling recycling bins and answering questions.
There is also the Reuse Your Goods contest draw running all week.
Donate a re-usable item at the Niagara Road 12 or Humberstone Reusable Goods Drop-off depot and receive a ballot to enter a draw to win a $50 visa gift card.
