The Niagara Catholic District School board is reportedly investigating its chair for leaving Canada during the provincial lockdown.
The Niagara Falls Review reports that Chair Larry Huibers admitted to traveling outside of the province in December and outside of the country in the first week of January, but didn't disclose his reasons.
The province-wide shutdown started on Boxing Day, followed by a stay at home order issued on January 14th.
Huibers says his travel was necessary, but didn't state why.
