Ontario government shows the numbers are higher than provincial average
Some impressive graduation rates at the Niagara Catholic District School board.
Ontario's Ministry of Education released these numbers in August of 2024, and shows for students who entered Grade 9 in the Niagara area during the 2020 year, the graduation rate was 89.6%, about 4.7-percent higher than the provincial average.
For the board's 5-year graduation rate, that's students starting school in 2019, the rate was 92.4-percent, roughly 3% higher than the provincial average.
Members of the board congratulate students and teachers for their hard work.
