Niagara Catholic is announcing four more cases of COVID-19.
Two of the cases are at Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls, and there is one case each at St. Augustine Catholic Elementary School in Welland and Lakeshore Catholic High School in Port Colborne.
The board says the individuals were infectious prior to spring break, and were in school during their contagious period.
Based on the exposure dates, the board expects that all active cases listed on their website, including the four noted above, will be cleared at the end of the day today.
All affected staff and students are self-isolating, based on the advice of Niagara Region Public Health.
Beginning next week, the board will only report cases of individuals in schools, and further cases dated back to earlier in the month are not anticipated.
