High winds will whip through Niagara today.
Environment Canada has a wind warning in place for South Niagara.
The weather agency says gusts could reach 100 kilometres an hour.
The hardest hit areas will be along the Lake Erie shoreline.
North Niagara is under a special weather statement with winds up to 80 kilometres an hour expected.
The winds will pick up this afternoon and into this evening.
