Wayne Gates says he's hearing from Niagara Falls residents who head to the states
More pressure from Niagara Falls MPP to address wait times for MRIs in Niagara.
Wayne Gates is asking the Ontario government for additional funding and resources.
He says his office has heard from several people in Niagara Falls this week, who had to go to Mississauga, and in some cases, hop the border to the US get timely access to an MRI.
He's also heard about seniors who booked a hotel room in the GTA so they could get an appointment, since there wasn't anything in Niagara.
Earlier this year, the local MPP said there is a staggering 306 day wait time.
