Drivers stop to help
It truly was a community effort corralling a pair of wayward miniature horses loose on the QEW in rural Niagara Falls.
A pair of local drivers stopped yesterday after seeing the duo in traffic on the highway near Beck Road.
The Review reporting Jeffrey Young of Port Colborne, who was on his way to work, activated the emergency lights on his van stopping traffic.
He and a co worker then attempted to wrangle the animals.
That's when Jennifer Woodland of Fort Erie, who has lived on farms, stopped to help.
OPP, as well as the Niagara SPCA, also assisted and the horses were returned to a nearby farm where they had made their escape.
