OPP say it happened over the weekend on Highway 58, when the driver lost control
A weekend crash shut down Highway 58 in Thorold and left a 27-year-old Vaughn man dead.
OPP was called to the scene just before midnight Saturday.
The driver lost control of his vehicle and hit the guardrail.
He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but succumbed to his injuries.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
