Police arrested the Fort Erie man after they say he communicated with undercover officer
A 52-year old Fort Erie man has been charged with child luring.
Police say back in January of 2024, they started looking into a certain case of child luring over the internet.
The investigation led to the man communicating for a sexual purpose with someone he thought was under 16, it was an undercover police officer.
On New Year's Eve, police say they arrested William James Greenall, charging him with exposure to someone under 16, and luring a child to sexual purposes.
He had a bail hearing yesterday in St. Catharines.
Police believe he went by the usernames Niagara420, Niagara guy and James, and committed offences against other children.
