Man Arrested After 2 Bank Robberies

NRP say the man is charged after a heist in Lincoln, and a few weeks later one in St. Catharines

A St. Catharines man has been arrested after two bank robberies.

Police were first called November 21st, late morning, to the CIBC on Victoria Avenue in Lincoln, to find a man, using a gun, took off with some money after forcing the teller to hand it over.

Fast forward to Monday, December 9th, when police say at around 10:30 in the morning, a man walked into the TD bank on Scott Street in St. Catharines.

He had a gun, demanded money from the teller, and was able to leave with an unknown amount.

With the help of Hamilton police, NRP identified and arrested 29-year old Isaiah Sharpe.

He had a bail hearing on Friday.
