Pool and courts ready for business
The City of Niagara Falls announcing the MacBain Community Centre is open and ready to welcome the public back. The 100,000 square foot community centre, once home to the YMCA, is now being operated and programmed by the city.
In a release officials "over the past year, the Recreation and Culture Department has been working on maintenance, repairs, renovations and staffing to meet the needs of the community."
The new centre is offering a wide variety of programs including aquatics, older Adults programming, from Pickleball to Yoga for residents ages 60 and older, children and youth programming, squash and racquetball courts and facility rentals.
