Long time investigation leads to arrest

St. Catharines detectives arrested a 20 year old male yesterday in relation to an on-going graffiti investigation.

John Wyatt Jarrett of St. Catharines was arrested yesterday and is believed to be responsible for the tag "GAFI".

The graffiti "tag" has been identified at 73 locations... including private and public properties.

The 20 year old faces the alleged charges of...

- Mischief Over $5,000- Section 430(4) CC (GLOBAL COUNT)

- Mischief Under $5,000- Section 430(4) CC (7 counts)

Jarrett will have a bail hearing Sunday, March 15 in St.Catharines.
