Niagara Health is reporting another patient with COVID-19 has passed away.
The patient from Welland passed away on Monday, bringing the total number of deaths at Niagara Health sites to 31.
Public Health says there are 472 confirmed cases of the virus in the Region, including 42 deaths.
More than 200 people have recovered.
There are eight outbreaks of the virus at healthcare facilities and long-term care home across the Region.
The latest was reported over the weekend at Bethesda Community Services in Lincoln.
Other recent outbreaks include the Woodlands of Sunset in Welland and Henley House in St. Catharines.
