Niagara's unemployment rate is still lower than the provincial and national averages.
Statistics Canada says it dropped to 7.5 percent in October, even though it was sitting at 8.7 percent the month before.
Ontario's rate increased to 9.6 percent, compared to the 9.5 percent reported in September.
The national rate dropped slightly to 8.9 percent after we added another 83,600 jobs to the Canadian economy.
