Peel Region police say a Mississauga man has been arrested and charged in a human trafficking investigation.
They say officers investigated allegations in June of a female being taken advantage of in the sex industry throughout Peel Region.
Police say the suspect allegedly controlled aspects of the female's life and profited financially from it.
They say the 33-year-old man faces multiple charges including trafficking in persons and exercising control.
