Police called to St. Catharines hospital over reports of person with weapon
Some tense moments today at St. Catharines hospital over concerns of someone with a weapon in the emergency department.
Niagara Health says out of an abundance of caution it called a code silver, and asked people to not come to the hospital.
Eventually police cleared the area, and said there was no longer any threat.
