Mary Simon says she is currently experiencing mild symptoms of the virus.

Governor General Mary Simon says she has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a tweet, Simon noted that she is experiencing mild symptoms, and will continue to self-isolate in the coming days.

On Tuesday, Rideau Hall announced that her husband Whit Fraser had tested positive.

Both of them have received three COVID-19 vaccinations.
