Go Transit says service reductions expected in the coming days due to staffing shortages.
After a spike in COVID-19 cases prompted GO Transit cancellations over the holidays, additional service reductions are on the way.
The transit service, which serves the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas, says a temporary reduction in train and bus service is coming on January 10th, with current cancellations to remain in effect until January 9th.

New schedules are currently unavailable.
Seven train corridors and bus routes will be impacted, but cancelled trains will not be replaced by buses.
The company says the reduction in service is short-term.
As of this afternoon, the GO Transit website showed five cancelled train trips.
