The Ford Tories have voted against an NDP sponsored motion that would have given PSW's a $4 an hour pay raise.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath says all PSW's should have decent, well-paying, full-time jobs.
She notes the long term care workers are our heroes, going to extraordinary lengths to care for people during the pandemic, all without the support and wages they deserve.
But the party leader adds, we won't be deterred, we'll be back with more positive proposals focused on saving lives and giving Ontarians the help and hope they need.
