All started with victim trying to collect money owed for car repair
Officers were called out Monday night to a hotel in the Ellen Avenue and Centre Street area.
Police met with a male victim in his 40's and a female victim in her 20's.
Officers determined the two had gone to the hotel to collect money owed to the man for repairs he made to a car.
He went into the hotel room, while the female victim remained in the car.
He was confronted by a group of men who pointed a knife at him demanding his car keys.
The victim fled and was confronted by a woman and two men in the parking lot with one of the men pointing a handgun, the woman was armed with a knife.
The victims were able to escape.
A short while later police located the suspect's truck at a nearby motel in the same area.
Facing charges are 36 year old Megan Roussy and 49 year old Patrick Cline both from Niagara on the Lake, as well as 36 year old Peter Blaker and 46 year old William Prentice of Niagara Falls, along with 27 year old Kayla Wade of no fixed address.
