Pelham is not included in the Ontario Fire Restriction Zone and a fire ban is not in effect.
This means Pelham residents can have a campfire while they’re self-isolating at home.
The Town has also decided to extend the 2019 burn permits.
A lot of residents have been asking questions about open-air burning, so the town released an official statement earlier today.
