Elementary teachers in Niagara and across the province will work-to-rule as of November 26th.
The union is in legal strike position as of the day before.
Teachers will stop doing administrative tasks like participating in school board activities on PA days.
They will also not participate in EQAO testing, or give comments on report cards.
Students will still get their grades.
Ontario's Education Minister says it's disappointing the EFTO has escalated to a partial withdrawal of services, despite only a few outstanding items at the bargaining table.
One of the big issues is a recent law, capping public sector wages increases at one per cent.
Union President Sam Hammond says it's not about the money, instead calling the law an affront to free collective bargaining.
