The Foundation is a new initiative designed to raise money to support programs focused on crime prevention, and enhancing community safety in the region.
It'll prioritize vulnerable people, make a positive impact on public safety, and be transparent in ensuring money raised is used properly.
The Foundation's Board of Directors will have 7-people, one from the police services board, one from the NRP, and the rest volunteers, on part-time two or three year terms, with potential re-appointment.
Application deadline is a week today, at 4pm.
