Town of Lincoln says there shouldn't be any cause for alarm

A cautious reminder from the Town of Lincoln to be mindful of coyotes.

It says there have been a number of sightings recently within town limits.

While coyotes are frequently seen around Niagara and southern Ontario, the town adds there shouldn't been any cause for alarm, as they sometimes wander close to urban areas.

Officials say there are a number of things to do, such as backing slowly away, picking up children, and, never leave food sources around that'll attract coyotes.
