Numbers not seen since May
Niagara Public Health recording another 34 infections today as well as one additional death, on top of the 68 new cases yesterday.
Right now Niagara Falls and St. Catharines have the highest number of active case counts among the region's 12 municipalities.
Public Health reporting 95 active cases in the falls and 113 in the Garden City.
Meanwhile, Ontario Health officials reported another 1,467 new cases of the novel coronavirus today on top of the 1,607 new cases yesterday.
The last time we had case counts this high was in the spring.
