The pressure coming from Tony DiMarco's colleagues
A move by Welland city council to oust one of its own.
Councillor David McLeod read a motion at last night's meeting, that would seek the resignation of Councillor Tony DiMarco, who was not there last night.
McLeod read the behaviour of their colleague has progressively gotten worse, and is no longer behaving in an acceptable manner.
In council's September 5th meeting, DiMarco got into a heated exchange with the mayor, and cursed at the mayor, before being escorted out by security.
This isn't the first time this has happened.
Council will look into this at a later date.
