Police say the robbery happened early this morning in Niagara Falls, suspect showing a gun
Didn't take police too long to make an arrest following a convenience store robbery in Niagara Falls.
They were called at around 1:30 this morning to the Busy Bee store, in the Victoria and Ryerson Crescent area.
They say a man walked in, try to steal some items, then showed a gun as he fled on foot.
Police were able to get a description, and found the suspect, then a high risk arrest was done.
50-year old Yovany Eduardo Vera Lorenzo of Niagara Falls is charged:
- Use of imitation firearm during flight after commission of an offence
- Robbery
- Uttering Threats
He has a bail hearing today.
