Naturalization site and leash-free dog parks to be closed 1-2 weeks, starting today.
The Niagara Region is advising the public that construction work is taking place at Elm Street Naturalization Site.
Officials say beginning today, work will take place at the Naturalization Site and the leash-free dog parks.
The site could be closed for one to two weeks, depending on weather.
Park visitors should expect noise, limited or no parking access, and large equipment and trucks.
Residents are asked to visit the Waste Management webpage before going to the site, to ensure it has been re-opened.
