Police arrested 2 people after some fentanyl and cocaine was found in Welland house
Two people from Welland have been caught after a drug investigation into fentanyl trafficking.
Police began looking into a certain dealer in the spring, and yesterday used a search warrant on a Welland home, and vehicle.
Police say they found some grams of fentanyl and cocaine, valued at just over $42,000, and some money from proceeds of crime.
51-year old Stacey Crawford is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
33-year old Shawn Marsh is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking
- Fail to comply with release order
- Fail to comply with probation order
They have bail hearings today.
