Police were called to an area in Fort Erie early Saturday morning
A weekend fire in Fort Erie at a construction site has led to the arrest of two men.
Emergency crews were called around 7, Saturday morning, to the Allen Trail and Whispering Woods Trail for reports of a fire.
They found a row of town homes under construction on fire.
Police say shortly after the fire started, 2-men were seen leaving the building, they were caught a short distance away.
Police have charged 36-year old Michael Magin of Fort Erie:
- Break and Enter to Commit Mischief Over $5000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
45-year old Jason Batt of St. Catharines is charged:
- Break and Enter to Commit Mischief Over $5000
Both were released with future court dates.
There were no injuries, damage estimate is $400,000.
