The University announced today that the upcoming winter term will be delayed by one week.
The final day of exams is December 22nd, and classes were originally slated to begin January 4th, but will now begin on January 11th instead.
The school says that the decision was made after two weeks of consultations with students and staff.
The announcement comes after an online petition urging for an extended winter break received over 5800 signatures.
