Fort Erie is shutting it down to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The town has closed the boat launch in Crystal Beach.
CAO Tom Kuchyt says after further discussion with the government, the town closed the launch last night.
The boat launch will remain open for emergency purposes and water rescues from approved agencies only.
The sale and use of season passes are on hold indefinitely.
