Fort Erie is out with a warning, as the end of the week gets closer.
For years, high school students have flocked to the beaches of Fort Erie on the first Friday of June.
It’s known as the annual Beach Day, or Skip Day.
The town is reminding students beaches are still closed in Fort Erie and bylaw will be actively monitoring these restricted areas.
Those caught not following the rules could be subject to a $750 fine.
