Police say one person arrested is repeat offender out on bail
Ten people have been arrested across the province in relation to child sexual exploitation.
Provincial police, along with officers from Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, North Bay, and the Toronto area, took part in an investigation in September known as Project Limestone.
They monitored on-line platforms and social media apps designed for children, in order to track down those looking to exploit children.
Police posed as children on-line, and arrested the individuals after arranging to meet.
Some of the accused arrived with candy, toys, and sexual paraphernalia, and one of them was a repeat offender out on bail at the time of arrest.
A total of 39 charges were laid.
