Lincoln Mayor says she has mild symptoms
Sandra Easton informing residents she has tested positive after developing symptoms over the weekend
The mayor says thankfully the symptoms have been mild.
Easton adds she is proud of the fact she is fully vaccinated and urges everyone to do the same, adding it is our strongest defense against severe cases of the virus.
Easton says she will continue to self isolate and will follow all public health guidelines.
It was just a week ago, St. Catharines Mayor Walter Sendzik tested positive for COVID-19.
