Niagara Health says it's from the Haj-Ahmad Family
Yet another substantial financial gift given to Niagara Health Foundation's "It's Our Future" campaign, in support of the South Niagara hospital construction.
The Foundation says the Haj-Ahmad Family Foundation is giving $2-million.
In recognition of this, Niagara Health says it'll be proud to name the Angiography area of Diagnostic Imaging at the new hospital, and the Marotta Family hospital Laboratory, in honour of the family.
Dr. Haj-Ahmad says their motivation comes from knowing that, one day, any of us, could need care at the South Niagara hospital.
The family has long been a supporter of education, health and community development across Niagara.
