The OPP are trying to track down a vehicle whose aggressive and reckless driving forced a car off the roadway and into a grassy median on the QEW in Oakville.
The incident occurred Thursday evening (Sept. 1) on the eastbound QEW near Ford Drive.
Halton Region Paramedics and Oakville firefighters responded to assess the family, which included a young child.
Police said the car they were in was forced off the road and into the grassy median during an aggressive manoeuvre by another driver who fled the scene.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
There are no reported injuries.
